Barcelona Ready for Inaugural Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou on Saturday

Barça revealed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in La Liga two and a half years since relocating for construction to commence.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed finished work included a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.

Stadium Testing

Barça organized an open training session on the home pitch earlier this month. Officials stated they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht in December at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
