Plane Transporting US Defense Secretary Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet transporting Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the plane's windshield, according to an official statement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet landed following established safety measures and all passengers, including Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer commented in a public statement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This incident does not mark the initial instance that a United States armed forces jet transporting a high-ranking official has encountered mechanical issues.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was required to head back to the US capital after encountering a mechanical fault.
