Social media personality Harrison Sullivan was taken into custody following evading police for nearly a year related to alleged driving offences.
The 24-year-old, known as Harrison Sullivan, had a warrant from local authorities for missing a legal hearing after a accident in Virginia Water, Surrey in March 2024.
Police had earlier issued an public call for information after the driver of a high-performance vehicle linked to a crash with another car left the scene.
Mr Sullivan, who skipped a court appearance in November, had subsequently posted videos on social media from Qatar.
A statement from Surrey Police on the start of the week declared: "A young man from Hutton, Essex was taken into custody on Friday for not showing up at court for reckless operation of a vehicle.
"He was presented at a local court on Saturday and is being held ahead of a further court appearance at another court on Tuesday."
The court confirmed that charges comprised failing to stop after an incident, operating a vehicle while handling a cellphone, and driving without proper coverage.
